Eric J. Weiss, an associate with Cavitch, has had years of experience dealing with various legal issues such as employment practices, securities, real estate and zoning, professional liability, financial institutions and corporate law.
Before joining the firm, Eric was Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the Criminal Division of the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office from 2000 until 2004.
Eric was admitted to the Ohio bar in 2000. He is also licensed to practice law before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.
In 2000, he graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall School of Law. In 1996 Eric received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Bowling Green State University. He is a member of the Ohio Bar Association.
