Alexander E. Goetsch, a partner with Cavitch, is an experienced litigator in the areas of commercial litigation, civil litigation, employment law, real estate, and class
action law.
Alex was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1995 and the Florida Bar in 1996. He is also admitted to the US District Court, Northern District of Ohio, US District Court, Southern District of Ohio, US District Court, Southern District of Florida, and the US Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.
Since 2005, Alex has been a co-editor of the Ohio Transaction Guide, published by Matthew Bender & Co. In 1995, Alex received his Juris Doctor degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. He graduated from Heidelberg College in 1991.
Alex resides in Chagrin Falls with his wife and two children where he is very active in the local community. He is a member of the Chagrin Falls Dads’ Club, serves as treasurer for the Chagrin Falls Educational Foundation and spends countless hours in hockey rinks with his son’s hockey team.
