Lori Ross Tark is an experienced litigation attorney who has represented clients in state and federal court as well as before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and its predecessor, the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), as well as before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC). Lori has jury and bench trial experience and has arbitrated cases before NASD and American Arbitration Association panels.
Lori has extensive experience in securities litigation and has represented brokers and broker/dealers in both customer and industry disputes. She has also represented employers and employees in cases involving discrimination, wrongful discharge, sexual harassment and Fair Labor Standards Act violations.
She has experience with business entities and individuals in cases involving shareholder disputes, torts, contract disputes and the Uniform Commercial Code.
Lori is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.
Active in many professional organizations, Lori was recently asked to be a member of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. She was also recently chosen by Ohio Super Lawyers as a Rising Star for 2010.
Lori received her Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in occupational therapy from Cleveland State University.
