Max E. Dehn has been an associate attorney with Cavitch since he was admitted to the Ohio bar in 2005.

Max focuses his practice on litigation and has worked on a variety of employment, contracts and class action defense matters.

In 2005, Max earned his Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1989.

While in law school, Max received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award for high grades in Contracts and Employment Law. He was also a member of the Moot Court team. Max is the author of How it Works:  Sobriety Sentencing, The Constitution, and Alcoholics Anonymous, which was published in the Michigan State University Journal of Medicine & Law.

Before law school, Max had substantial experience in the fields of music, education and fund development. He directed the Tri-C JazzFest, an internationally acclaimed festival of teaching and performance for several years. He also initiated nationally recognized programs in music and technology education. In 2009, Max was selected as an Ohio Rising Star, an honor for outstanding young lawyers in the state.
