Robert C. Heintel advises clients on business, taxation and transactional matters. His specific areas of practice include business organization law, employee benefits, and international trade compliance.
Bob's focus in serving clients is to approach legal matters from a practical business perspective, to enable him to give advice that assists clients in attaining their business goals.
Bob originally joined the firm in 1996. Following five years of practice with the firm, he served as an in-house attorney for four years with a Fortune 100 corporation in the manufacturing industry. He returned to Cavitch in June of 2005.
Bob is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Greater Cleveland International Lawyers Group, and American Society of Pension Actuaries. He is also a past board member of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
He has been a co-editor of Matthew Bender & Co.'s publications Ohio Transaction Guide and Current Legal Forms for many years.
In 1996, Bob graduated cum laude from Case Western Reserve School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor degree. While he was in law school, he was Managing Editor of the Case Western Reserve University Law Review, Volume 46 and authored "The Need for an Alternative to Antitrust Regulation of the National Football League," for the publication. He graduated from John Carroll University, cum laude with a B.S.B.A. degree in 1993. He was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1996.
