Ronald D. Holman II, a partner with Cavitch, practices in the areas of complex litigation, employment and commercial disputes, and class action defense.

Ron's extensive experience includes defending clients in claims that involve age discrimination, gender discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, retaliation, disability, breach of contract, conversion, unjust enrichment, premise liability, non-compete agreements, trade secrets, unfair competition, commercial disputes, collection cases, fraud, and class actions. He and other Cavitch attorneys have been requested to represent clients in matters that have the potential for high media value.

In 1986, Ron was admitted to Ohio bar, as well as the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio. He also was appointed by the Chief Judges to the federal court's Civil Justice Reform Act Advisory Group and Magistrate Selection Panel. In 1990, he became licensed to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit. Ron is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Assocation and the American Bar Association.

Ron has also has served on the transition committees of City of Cleveland Mayors Jane Campbell and Frank Jackson. For more than a decade, he appeared as a legal analyst and commentator on News Channel 5 - WEWS-TV (the ABC affiliate in Cleveland). Ron attained his Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University in 1986. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in 1982.
