Shannon M. Hoch has been an attorney with Cavitch since 1998, where she concentrates her practice primarily on estate planning and probate law with a focus on special needs planning.

Shannon advises individuals and families on issues such as estate tax, succession planning and wealth transfer and preservation, and charitable planning. She also represents organizations in creating and obtaining tax-exempt status and provides ongoing guidance to such organizations regarding compliance issues.

Shannon was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1998. She is also admitted to the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, and the United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.

Shannon received her Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where she graduate cum laude in 1998. She attained her Bachelor of Arts degree from John Carroll University in 1994.

She is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and its Estate Planning and Trust Law Section and served as the chairperson of its Young Lawyers Section. She is also a member of Ohio Bar Association.
