Jeannette M. Weaver

Jeannette M. Weaver has more than 36 years of experience. She concentrates her practice in Asset Protection Planning, Medicaid Planning, and Estate Planning, including Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Supplemental/Special Needs Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Probate and Guardianships.

Ms. Weaver began her career as a litigator: City of Cleveland -Assistant Prosecutor, Chief Trial Counsel, and Assistant Director of Law; Ohio Attorney General – Assistant AGO, Environmental Enforcement Section, U.S. Attorney General, Northern District, Ohio – Special AUSA. Later, she transitioned her practice to Estate Planning with a focus on Asset Protection. She was a partner in an area law firm and then started her legal practice in Brecksville, Ohio. She has established a strong presence in her community in Trust Planning and, more specifically, Medicaid Planning. She has also served and continues to serve as Magistrate for Broadview Heights Mayor’s Court for 20 years.

Jeannette works with families to help them understand their options, prepare and implement a plan for their specific needs and goals, and minimize the stress that loved ones experience when they are facing difficult situations due to long-term care costs and needs. Her message is, “You are not alone in the process, and you have options to save and protect your hard-earned money and assets, even if you need long-term care.”

She is actively involved in her community, having previously served as President of Chippewa Elementary School PTA/PSO, Chippewa Garden Club, and member of St. Basil’s Catholic Church. She is asked to speak frequently at community events on Medicaid Planning and Trust Planning. Jeannette and her husband, Mark, enjoy time with their four children and two grandchildren as much as possible. Jeannette spends her personal time at Catawba Island boating, golfing, and playing pickleball.
