Michael R. (“Mike”) Rasor seeks to be more than just an attorney for his business clients, but also an all-purpose adviser.

Several publications have identified Mike as a leader in law and public service, including Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, Crain’s Cleveland Business, and The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club.

Mike stands toe to toe with the largest firms in America in business transactions, and provides great value, clear advice, and prompt service. His clients include operating businesses, financial institutions, private equity funds, and venture capital funds.

Mike is licensed to practice in Ohio and North Carolina. He is co-chairman of Cavitch’s Business Practice Group and chairman of the firm’s Capital and Finance Group. He serves on the Board of Directors, and as the firm’s Vice President. Mike is the quarterback for Cavitch’s annual edits to the Ohio Transaction Guide and Current Legal Form, revising many of these legal publications himself.

In law school, Mike’s GPA was ranked No. 7 in his class of 135 students. He was selected as the Editor-in-Chief of the Akron Law Review. Mike served 5 terms on Stow City Council (2010-2019), including a term as President of the city’s legislature. In his spare time, Mike enjoys golfing, weightlifting, playing piano, and reading. Mike and his wife Laura have four children and live in Stow.
