Christopher Thomas is an Associate at Cavitch, Familio, and Durkin. Christopher joins the firm after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron School of Law.
During law school, Christopher participated in Akron Law Review as an Assistant Editor. He also served as an Academic Success Program Fellow for Contracts in which he held weekly review session to aid first year students in their doctrinal contracts course. Christopher also engaged in pro bono service through the University of Akron's VALID Clinic.
Christopher excelled academically, and was recognized with CALI Awards for Excellence for achieving the highest grades in Legal Analysis Research and Writing I, Legal Analysis Research and Writing II, Civil Procedure - Federal Litigation, Legislation and Regulation, Evidence, Patent Law, Pretrial Advocacy, and Expert Evidence.
Before law school, Christopher graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he earned a Bachelor of Science for Neuroscience and Behavior. Christopher's prior legal experience includes Linnen Co. LPA and Cincinnati Insurance Company In-House Litigation Department, where he gained experience in litigation and performed research, responded to and drafted discovery, and drafted various memoranda and pleadings.
Christopher is a native English speaker. His interests include hiking, pickleball, and reading.
