CLEVELAND, OH – In a milestone year defined by both reflection and gratitude, Cavitch Familo & Durkin is proud to announce the firm’s 140th anniversary. To celebrate nearly a century and a half of service, the firm donated 140 winter coats to Shoes and Clothes for Kids (SC4K), a Cleveland non-profit dedicated to supporting local families in need.
A Legacy of Service
Tracing its roots back to 1886, Cavitch has grown alongside the city of Cleveland. “Reaching 140 years is a testament to the long-standing relationships we’ve built with our clients and our city,” said Hal Maxfield, President. “There is no better way to honor that history than by investing in Cleveland’s future, its children.”
Supporting the Mission of SC4K
The recipient of the donation, Shoes and Clothes for Kids, has been helping families in the Cleveland community for over 57 years. Their mission is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves the appropriate clothes and school necessities required to succeed in the classroom.
Team Cavitch was honored to visit SC4K and help them unload and setup the coats in their free store for families. The firm was represented by Hal Maxfield, Mary Sotera and Amanda May.
By providing these brand-new coats, Cavitch aims to help SC4K remove the barriers that often prevent children from attending school during Northeast Ohio’s harsh winter months.
